ITINERARY FOR LIONS IN ACTION RALLY 2009

Lions In Action Rally in conjunction with the celebration of 50th Year of Lionism in Malaysia is scheduled to start on 22nd October and ends on 25th October 2009.

The objectives are:

1.Foster closer tie between the Lions members and the Community in District 308-A2.

2.Foster closer relationship, mutual understanding and cooperation among Lions in the District.

3.Create public awareness of Lionism, and ‘positive' Lions image.

4.Road show and prestige as a community volunteers.

5.To extend hands on services to community in need along the Rally.

6.To boost the moral of Lions for membership drive, club extension and retention.

7.To fulfill International President theme “More to Grow” and DG theme “Together, Let’s Do It!”.

Team A 1

Venue: Tawau
Time: Flag off 8:00 am (Tawau)(Through Kalabakan Road)

The Lions In Action Rally 2009 will start on Thursday 22nd October 2009. As from the proposed itinerary above, you will realize that this rally is divided into 5 teams.A1,A2,A3 from Sabah and B1, B2 from Sarawak. We will move from our respective area simultaneously and meet in Miri on 24th October 2009. We are in the process of compiling the local clubs tentative programs and plan of actions for the activities during the stop over of respective rally teams in your place. We also request information concerning food and lodging and authorise work shop for mechanical and tyres problem for their vehicles during their stay there. It will be good that you form a committee to look into this matter as soon as possible and give us your valuable information and feed back before end of August 2009.
